Our Spanish-speaking clients come from many regions, especially Latin America and the Caribbean. Most of their visits to friends and family back home are uneventful and safe. But on those rare occasions when an airplane accident has occurred, we've represented family members who have lost loved ones and filed lawsuits against the airlines, the aircraft manufacturer, or any other party whose negligence contributed to the disaster. We've worked hard to get our clients the compensation they deserve.

In recent years, we have handled cases stemming from two major plane crashes:

• June 25, 1990; Avianca Airlines Flight 052
  A Boeing 707 en route to JFK Airport from Colombia crashed on Long Island, killing 73 people.
• November 12, 2001; American Airlines Flight 587
  An Airbus jet headed for the Dominican Republic broke up immediately after takeoff from JFK. All 255 people on board were killed.
